What it is

Remeet is a macOS app that records both sides of a call, transcribes it locally with Whisper, and summarises it through the Claude Code or Codex CLI already installed on the machine. No account, no upload, no API key: the audio never leaves the Mac. Capture lives in the menu bar because it is a companion to the call, not a destination.

What it does

Both sides captured as separate tracks, so every line already has a speaker
Transcription runs locally on the GPU through Whisper
Summaries written by the local AI CLI, in the language the meeting was held in
Recordings filed into spaces as they start, so there is no sorting step to forget
