    A payment gateway integration for a steel and metal trading company, connecting modern payment infrastructure with an existing legacy PHP website.

    The challenge

    The client’s existing commerce website was built on an old PHP stack, making direct integration difficult to maintain, scale, and extend without risking stability in the current system.

    Our approach

    We created a bridge layer between the legacy PHP application and a modern TypeScript-based service. This allowed the payment gateway integration to run more reliably while keeping the old website operational, reducing technical debt without forcing a full rebuild from day one.
